Jet Schenk is the founder of A Smile From Kenya. For 13 years she has been spending several months a year in Kenya, and she has been working very closely with her good friend Esther Nyanje; the head of all projects in Kenya. Jet is the chairperson of the foundation.
Simone van der Vlist is a marketing strategist and creative director for sustainable brands. Within A Smile From Kenya, she is responsible for communications and sustainable development. She also is vice-chairperson.
Joanne van der Vlist works as a project lead for poverty reduction in Amsterdam and studied Humanitarian Action and Conflict. She is program manager for A Smile From Kenya and focuses mainly on human rights and education.
Boaz Struik is an accountant working at Qconcepts. Within the foundation he is responsible for the finances. As treasurer he makes sure that all the money ends up in the right place.
Scato Trip is a trainee lawyer-tax specialist, with management experience in the contracting industry. He is the secretary of the foundation.
